Altruistic Apps was built by a person with 15 years of product experience and 5 years of educational software development. The goal was simple: build applications that help and educate people — at no cost to them.

At a time when everything costs too much money and even apps squeeze your budget, we build apps that provide information in a fun and meaningful way. Our promise: We will never monetize our public-facing consumer apps. The vast majority of what we build is completely free — no fees, no subscriptions, no ads, and no data collection. Ever.

Our SideQuests lineup is a small but intentional exception to the free-everything rule. A business training platform and a platform video game aren't the same as a mobile app — they require ongoing development, hosting, and distribution investment. So we charge, but we charge fairly: significantly less than what competitors demand, because we believe small businesses deserve software that helps their teams grow without breaking the budget, and gamers deserve great experiences without a $70 price tag.
